FORGIVENESS
As believers in Jesus Christ, we pray at home, as we travel and at church but do we really know what we are responsible for as we approach the throne of The Most High GOD? Well, let us take a look at the outcome and our attitude when we pray and what God has commanded us to do. Surely, we want God to forgive us but do we want to forgive others who have done us wrong?
According to Mark 11:23-26, we must exercise faith in God and forgiveness to others. In the previous verses of this chapter, Jesus and His disciples had just passed by a fig tree that was dried up from the roots and Peter remembered that it was the tree that Jesus had cursed the day before because it bore no fruit!
I am sure that we as believers, the planting of the Lord want to bear fruit, not any fruit but that which is acceptable to Jesus. How do we do that? Here are the directions from our Lord and Savior, the Living Word;
1. Have faith in God.
2. Do not doubt that God is able to give you what you ask.
3. Believe in your heart that God will give you whatever you
ask for.
4. Whenever you start to pray, the first thing you must do is
to forgive every one that has offended you. If you do not
forgive all, then God will not forgive you either.
Now, I know that there are some people who have almost devastated us by things that they have done to us or said about us. However, you will notice that God did not say forgive the little sins; no He wants us to forgive our offenders everything said or done to us.
My sister or brother, as you read this, think about what was done to Christ as He took our place at Calvary, what did He ask His Father to do to those who was in the process of killing Him? Yes, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.” (Luke 23:34). When people offend us, as believers in Christ, we need to pray the same, for little do they know that they are not only doing it to us but to Jesus, who lives in us and whose we are.
So cheer up, forgive, forget and receive the answers to your praise from this day forth, to the praise of HIS glory, yeah!

"Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight.
God's bright glory has risen for you.
The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness, But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you.
Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness.
Isaiah 60:1-3 MSG
