What's Decaying Inside of You? Part 3
A Voice Crying In The Wilderness
Stacey Lunsford
Thou shalt not pervert ~ (1) Ecclesiastes 5:8, If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
Seest oppression ~ Ecclesiastes 3:16, And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
Decayed in Hebrew is chorbah (Khor-baw) a desolate empty place, destruction. Nehemiah 4:10, And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
Isaiah 44:26, That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
Decayeth in Hebrew is charab (khaw-rab) to destroy, kill, dry up, slay lay, lie make waste. Job 14:11, As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
Ecclesiastes 10:18, By much slothfulness (laziness) the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
Through idleness, Proverbs 24:30-34, I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; 31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. 32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man. The slothful is too lazy to keep thorns and nettles out of his vineyard or to keep his stone wall repaired (v 31). His laziness is further exhibited in sleeping late when he should be working (v 33). Therefore, his poverty will come as one that traveleth; that is a bandit or vagabond. Small surrenders lead to great disasters. "KJV bible summary"

"Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight. God's bright glory has risen for you. The whole earth is wrapped in darkness, all people sunk in deep darkness,
But God rises on you, his sunrise glory breaks over you.
Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness.
